Tango To Evora - To Tango Tis Nefelis

This cover is by Greek singer, Haris Alexiou, entitled, "To Tango Tis Nefelis."(http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=T1h58mLVtHc) In 1996, she wrote the lyrics for "Nefeli's Tango" on Celtic musician Loreena McKennitt's music. The music by Loreena McKennitt is on her album "The Visit." It's called "Tango to Evora." Perhaps a homage to Césaria Évora. According to Loreena McKennitt's liner notes, "This was originally conceived for the National Film Board of Canada documentary "The Burning Times", directed by Donna Reid."
